Swipe mode — the easiest way to get videos

Open Discover, hit the Swipe tab, and keep or skip pre-generated videos like a dating app. VidFarm reads your product description and auto-recuts proven templates into ads for your business — and quietly generates more in the background while you swipe.

Key takeaways

  • Swipe mode is the single easiest way to get videos: open Discover → Swipe and keep or skip pre-made videos, one at a time.
  • Every card is a proven template auto-recut into an ad for your product — so before you swipe, fill in your Settings → Profile product description; that's what the AI reads to tailor each cut.
  • Approving a card sends it toward your approved posts, ready to schedule; skipping just moves on.
  • When you reach the end of the stack, more are already generating in the background — watch the tasks running chip in Cloud Status and new cards pop in when they finish.

What Swipe mode is

Swipe mode is a Tinder for viral videos. Instead of editing anything, you're handed one finished, on-brand short at a time and you make a single decision: keep it or skip it. It's the lowest-effort way to fill a content calendar — the AI does the making, you do the judging.

Each card isn't a random clip. VidFarm takes a template that has already performed well and re-cuts it into an ad for your business, so a swipe session is really a stream of proven formats pre-fitted to your product.

Set your product description first

The one thing to do before you swipe: go to Settings → Profile and fill in your product description — what your business is and who it's for. That single field is what Swipe reads to tailor every card. Skip it and you'll get generic cuts; fill it in and each video actually speaks to your offer.

Tip Treat the product description like a creative brief. A sharp two-line description ("SuperLungs — a lung-recovery & breathing-training app for athletes and ex-smokers") produces noticeably more on-target swipes than a vague one.

How to swipe

It keeps making more while you swipe

When a card says you're at the end of the stack, that's not the end — more are already being generated. Look at the Cloud Status chip and you'll see something like two tasks running, tagged with the swipe tracer. Let them finish and fresh cards pop in automatically. So Swipe is less a fixed deck and more a tap you leave running: check back and there's always something new to approve.

Note Want more control than keep/skip? The 3-minute quick demo shows editing a template by chatting, and Copying competitors shows decomposing a specific winner. Swipe is the zero-effort front door; those are the next steps up.

Start swiping

Fill in your product description, open Discover → Swipe, and keep the videos that fit. It's the fastest way to go from an empty calendar to a batch of ready-to-post shorts.
